1/17/2017 0 Comments One Semester LeftI can easily say that although I am nervous, I also feel prepared. I know I’ve done a lot while at Lindsay High. The easiest part of the project would be compiling everything I’ve done over the years. I kept record of everything along with keeping my work from past years, so that made my job of putting everything together simple. I end my semester in 4 days and I’ve been done early with majority of my classes. I just finished taking my last test for Government, I only have one test for Chemistry, and then one last writing assignment for my AP Literature class. This semester went by really fast and I wasn’t even in my busy season yet. I know this spring will be busy for me like always and because it is my Senior Year it will go by even faster. Entering my last semester of high school, I feel ready to leave. I know by graduation time I’ll be ready to go into the next step of life.

8/17/2016 0 Comments The Start of Senior YearSo far my senior year has been productive and busy. Despite it only being 3 days in, I’ve already been working with ASB throughout the summer. As an officer, I’ve had to go to meetings and set up days. At the moment, I am currently on pace considering we are only 3 days into the year, and I am positive with my classes that I will be able to stay on pace. I’ve already completed my job shadow and life map, I am currently working on my journals and senior presentation. The most exciting part of my project so far has been my Job Shadow; I shadowed a family friend who is a co-owner to the Papa Murphy’s chain. This year I am really looking forward to all of our last events and how we will grow and connect as a class in our final year. My goals for this year is to give it my all in every aspect. I want to be involved with school, family, friends, extracurricular activities, and just fully experience my last moments of high school. As for my future, I plan to attend a UC or CSU campus the next fall and to work towards my major in Business Management.
6/11/2015 0 Comments The Halfway Mark...Well, it really does fly by. It's my last day of sophomore year and I just realized that the end is here. There will be many goodbyes this weekend. Some of my friends are graduating and three of my favorite teachers are leaving. Aside from people leaving I've noticed that these are the people who influenced me and taught me how to survive high school, they've been my role models and in a sense my 'training wheels'. I now know when next year comes that I will be without them there to guide me. I will have to retain everything they've taught me the last two years and hope I'm prepared enough for this last half. The one thing I do have left is hope, despite all the change, I know that I will make it through this last half. I've accepted the change coming and I'm going to learn how to adjust.
